Hi, Thanks guys!
I decided to don't use varnish before sanding. I just used Tamiya putty and GW Liquid green stuff to fill in the gaps.
After that I used sandpaper to make the surface smooth and nice before painting and adding extra parts.
Next I added all the details with extra rivets and hinges. Now model is almost ready to paint. Before I do it I'd like to put one thin coat of varnish. I decided to do it now.
I've painted maxims.
Firstly I put 2 thin coats of Tamiya XF-69 as a base coat.
Next I mixed Citadel Abaddon Balck and Leadbelcher to make a first layer.
After that I've done heavy drybrush with Citadel Leadbelcher and as a next step I've drybrushed them with Citadel Runefang Steel to make some highlights.
The last step was adding some shades with Citadel Nuln Oil.
Now I am going to paint the wheels and the hull. I do not have airbrush so it might be a little bit difficult. I am going to use Tamiya spray paints.
