Quick update:
Thanks for all the advice, reply's and interest. Being new to paper ship building, it is welcome.
I did manage to finally get my hands on some Krylon clear matte and UV clear. I plan on spraying the hull and main deck once complete since I am already a few steps in. I will spray the remaining sheets and part at that time. Once complete i will coat the entire ship with the UV Clear.
As you can see in the pictures, I haven't got a lot done since my last post, but I have about 60% of the above waterline plating on, the rudder complete and some side ribbing. The main decks are just dry fitted right now and will be glued after the sides are complete.
