I'm making this fascinating ship that at 1/200 scale measures !106cm! (41,73 inches) of length
The details will have to be simplified, for example the flechate would measure only .001 mm, a tenth of a millimeter, just one hair!
The ship was a giant of the seas 217 m in length.
It was designed in 1843 by Isambard Kingdom Brunnel and launched: 31 January 1858
At the end of service she dropped the first submarine cable across the Atlantic between America and Europe.
