The engines with the chevrons are the MAX aircraft. The chevrons only appear on the new engines, which are a larger diameter than the ones used on the Next Generation (NG) aircraft.
This larger engine means a slightly redesigned pylon to mount to. Because of this, I do not think the new MAX engines can be mounted on a NG aircraft.
Regarding the winglets: The ones on the Max do not have the smooth sweeping transition that the ones on the NG aircraft have.
