Nice work so far on the Marine Fighting Squadron 2 F2A.
Some folks (Papermate being one of them, I think) build 1/100 and models with two thickness of bond paper.
I tried Epson 48 lb Premium Presentation Paper Matte. Still thick for 1/100 and I've been encountering some problems. There is a smooth side and an unsmooth side with warnings not to use the unsmooth side, but I can't always tell the difference. I built Volker's 1/87 Advent models with this paper and, while it worked out okay, sometime I got rough edges when I folded the paper.
I just bought some Boise Polaris 28 lb paper. It is very smooth and mikes out (measures with a micrometer) to about 0.08mm (0.0816), as opposed to about 0.07mm (0.0662) for bond paper and about 0.2mm for 67 lb. The small additional thickness from bond paper might make a difference. I haven't tried it yet on one of Nobi or Bruno's 1/100 models, but hope to do so soon.
Do you have a source for 33lb paper?
