It may be my technique. Without knowing how you roll/score/fold your
parts, it is difficult to compare them. But I will try and explain how I do it.

For rolling parts (fuselage section/engine pods, etc) I cut the part out. Then I do my
edge coloring (basic stuff here). Then, using knitting needles, or metal rods, I roll the
part using a larger size than needed. After getting a curl going, I move down a few
sizes to a smaller needle. Again, rolling a few times to tighten the roll. If it needs
another size, I choose a smaller needle again, and repeat.

For folding parts, there are different methods. Some poke pin holes at the ends of the
score line, turn the sheet over, and score on that side. I lightly score on the printed side,
turn the part over, then score again on the back side.
