Now it is looking like a wheel spat! Many thanks to Dave, Texman and others who have ofgfered advice. I actually shaped the spats by pressing on a mouse pad as Dave suggested in his P-47 build thread. Worked great and I didn't even have to cut the slits to make the correct shape. Had no idea paper had this much flexibility.
