well, I built this model...yay for me!
This is actually my first successful Micromodels build.

Its only my third attempt...but at least I finished it, and didn't throw away a pile of bent card!
(I previously tried two Sailing ships that didn't go well)

Honestly I am amazed that people built these things.
I find they have some extremely small parts that are difficult to cut out, score and fold, and assemble using cardstock.
And instructions aren't always as clear as you would like.

And I find there are often directions to reproduce a very small part using wood, matchsticks, or other materials...
probably because they are impossible in card! LOL

Anyway...most of this model went off without a hitch...
I fudged a couple of things...
but most of it as instructed.

I decided to add a bit of colour, because the model is very bland all the same colour.
A bit of blue/green on the water.
Tan decking.
And as much gray edge colouring as I could.

For the Life Boats, I just coloured and cut some cardstock (I think 2 layers)
into the general shape of the LifeBoat Hull.

The Gun Barrels are thin ABS plastic...as is the Mast Tower.
I didn't do the forward Mast...there isn't much room.
