Since I didn't know about this site till this week(courtesy of the Hyperscale discussion forum) I guess I'm new. I got into this hobby after seeing a departed friends Audii ( or something like that) metalic paper Ju-52 with a full interior in the 60's. I got the bug then and followed, working my way up to the same company's DC-3 kit. Maybe it was my friend having his Ju-52 chewed up by his dog or my marriage I kinda dropped out of this hobby. It was also because I never met any others who built card models. However, in the mid-80's I saw a group displaying their built card models at a Cleveland Air Show, but that's long way from Detroit. I sorta like this hobby because I'm a builder. Painting, decaling and adding all the little parts to finish a plastic kit is weary some to me. So I'm back, but in my mid 70's for how long.
