i learnt all the tricky parts on the 1;400 version,i tend to buy jsc ships at 1;400 then if i like them will give them away and remake at 1;250 for myself.Mostof their ships they can do at this scale if asked.There are a few exceptions like invinsible carrier which are availible at 1;250 but only through scaldis only with many other of these special edition kits.laser parts are also on jsc site site at both scales for such things as railings and ladders.
