A Burnisher’s Heaven...
and a part that I was really looking forward to. This is the jet exhaust housing. It stands in contrast to the rest of the vehicle, with all of its sharp, angled straight lines. Pic 117 is an internal shot showing how this goes together as T’s instructions are a little unclear about what was going on inside this part. As you can see, I cut off the tabs and made j-strips, instead. I found it critical to find and mark each pieces’ center on their back sides, including the j-strips, as indicated in the internal shot. As you also may notice, I haven’t glued the backing panel yet. The jet exhaust in 119 is only dry-placed right now. Quite pleased with the results.
I’ve got all the silver metallic pieces done for this section. I’ll post a pic of these later, along with shots of the completed section, when done.
