With a bit more enthousiasm I will get on with
my Catalina. The last one of more than 90 having flown with the Dutch Royal Navy during WW2.
Our gouvernment decided to introduce a new law (what is the meaning of 'Law' nowadays....) making gifts/donations taxable.
On top of that one of its engines broke down, so the guys aren't able anymore to have it repaired and are obliged to sell the Beauty to the U.S.
Bye bye another piece of aviatic nostalgia.
