You are a true gentleman for doing this for French history.
Many do not know how your country suffered during that horrendous war. Guynemer was an ace but most importantly he was an inspiration to your people during those terrible days. His loss is still a legend of French history. He was not "lost". He just continued to fly up into the clouds....
