Sorry for no post recently. Had to evacuate from the beach and head for Martinsville, VA for a week. Just got back home today. With the flooding I probably won't get into town for at least another week. Hwy 9, 3 miles from our house is under 10 to 15 feet of water for over 3 miles for all 4 lanes. They just closed a section of our road on the 22 Bypass end and a two mile section of the bypass. We were very lucky and had no damage that I have found. Our prayers with all who did have damage or lost everything. This is the worst flooding in Horry County history. The Waccamaw River will crest next Tuesday at an estimated 10 feet over record.
