Hmm, so it cuts off the last bottom 1/2 inch? What about the sides? Or is the image slightly reduced, too?
I assume you're using US letter size paper. Check whether this persists if you choose US legal size in the print settings. Run with both legal and letter paper in the tray to see if the image prints correctly.
You might also check if the Canon software has a "Print Preview" option. That might have a "Set Margins" option. Set everything to zero, and the printer should default to the bare minimum margins needed to print that size paper. This should allow enough room to print a complete image.
