I follow this thread when I can, but have a quick reminder for you as this problem has come up before that you might be unaware.
If you use the tracks from Japanese websites they represent a 'narrow gauge' track that's 1067mm wide in real life (also in the Philippines), whereas 'standard gauge' for most of the world is 1435mm so they won't be compatible. That's not even considering 'wide gauge' like in the former USSR.
