Not to hijack your communications, but the conflict is very interesting.
And following the advice of Maurice, I checked.
I would definitely use the P-36,
for the propeller!
One thing that is clear to me is that the NA-50 is not the same as the P-64, tail is different, but most important the wing of the NA-50 is closer to the T-6 with its light sweep, in contrast to the P-64 whit a revised wing, straighter.
This would be a nice Frankenprojekt.
Wings and engine from the Texan fuselage from the Boomerang, and revise the cockpit and the ruder.

ps the question remains, where do we get the p-36?
