Itīs all about scale: The bigger, the less difference there is between cardboard and plastic. A well built Halinski WWII fighter model can easily hold itīs own against a plastic kit. This is even more true when you look at the PZL-8 from JSC models in 1/24 scale or the DeHavilland Dragon Rapide by Schreiber Verlag in 1/24. A large model with all of the contours of the real thing and a super detailed engine. O.K., you need more skill and time to come to a satisfying result in paper modeling, but we donīt build to get a model finished. The fun is in the building process itself.
