Final bit of airbrushing on the hull. I’d say it turned out well, maybe 90% what I was expecting. This was my first experience using putty over paper and sanding it smooth. Is it perfect? Nope, but it looks a heck of a lot better than it would have if I’d left it bare paper.

A trick I’d like to pass along though: use fingernail hardener on the paper before using the filler. This plasticizes the paper and will make it sand much better. The process was base paper skin, hardener, grey primer, putty, sand, primer, putty, sand, black poly acrylic primer, base anti-foul red-brown, weathering, flat coat.
