PART 2
The last step is to now touch up the coal wagon...
- I filled a few gaps with PVA glue.
- The odd areas were then touched up with black and grey watercolour.
- The coal load also got a light dry brushing with the same grey paint used on the wagon.
- I will respray the finished item with varnish, but this can wait until I have other items to spray as well - the varnish will even the colours out where I have touched up and it will look far better!
Pictures 1 to 3 show the finished coal wagon ready to haul coal around the L & Y!
Next will probably be the low sided wagon – a similar build.
