Working on the old girl, main mast and trysail mast up, glued, shrouds on the masthead , working on lanyards for deadeyes. Today made parts for the mizzen so can move ahead there. Unfortunately only had enough deadeyes for the main shrouds, so back to the now famous Frosted pie cardstock. Punched out enough for about 40 more, need 20 just for the mizzen shroudlines. (will need quite a few more than that for the topmasts when I get that far) Gluing 3 discs of card with center one a tad smaller, will need to harden these with ca glue, drill, paint, then will need to make some more chainplates. Growth of the model is slow, but pretty cool, I'm glad to have made the masts earlier. No yards have been made yet. Figured out I think the mainstay but confused about the mizzen stay I have no real guidance there that I can find but is likely not that complicated the main trysail mast getting in the way for the usual attachment.
