The exhibit stuff is obviously the exception.
As is the for sale or barter stuff.
I have plastic storage totes full of toys, Hot Wheels, collectibles, etc that I vend.
Obviously this is not my personal collection that I want to look at.
I was only addressing the personal collection.
Recently I threw out a dozen or so paper models from my displayed collection to make room for new ones.
Mainly stuff that I wasn't that impressed with, and things I didn't have room for any more.
But I see no point in having stuff hidden away from view.
If it doesn't earn a place on a shelf somewhere, then I might as well toss it.
