I started the priming:



Here is a bigger shot of the rear, showing the greebly work on the exposed engine pits:




I think it looks good. The level of detail is about right. I love how primer washes away the distracting colors of the individual bits & the lines on the paper parts, leaving just the surface detail. Every visible feature is an actual physical element.

Here is an engine exhaust, and also a ball turret:




I'm excited to start the paint job, though I fear it will take as long as the construction did... December maybe?
