did continue my search, stumbled upon this website
selling 3d printed models of akitsu maru in as she looked in 1942 (middle) and in 1944 (front)
besides the mast at the stern, in 1944 the brigde was moved to starboard (outside the hull) and the flightdeck is wider and shorter.
