First, welcome to paper modelers.
It looks as if you are interested in ships, so you may want to click onto the forum and look for model builds then the "ships" link. This section then lists all the ships that are being built and those that have been completed. One tip look for the threads with the most posts, these will generally be "how I built my model" and will have loads of pictures - think "you tube frame by frame". You may strike it lucky and find just the model you want to make.
There's also a section for Hints and Tips.
If you've been making plastic kits for a while, you will be used to working out solutions to problems - It's the same with paper models, so you are already part way there;-)
One more tip, if you decide to download a kit - make sure there are adequate instructions - have a look at "Creative Park". They have a wide choice of models and the instructions are very good.
Finally, unlike plastic, with downloaded kits - if you make a mistake, you can always print off the parts again.
