70 years in the making! it felt like it anyway.
The Canadian Military Pattern (CMP) Ford built Field Artillery Tractor (FAT)
Also known as a Gun Tractor (FGT)
or Quad...referring to the short wheel base CMP 3 Ton 4x4 Truck chassis.
At the request of Britain, Canada produced a set of Vehicle chassis that could be built as various Trucks and vehicles.
CMP vehicles comprised an extremely large percentage of Allied vehicles produced in WW2.
The Field Artillery Tractor was used by all Commonwealth countries and was produced by both Ford and Chevrolet of Canada.
This 1/16 scale model is about a foot long! and well detailed.
