It had telescoping large sectioned wings that extended over the forward and aft wings. Those were extended by hand cranking in flight. I dont know if it ever flew or even transitioned wing sections in flight .

The picture for the model shows it in an intermediate position.

Not sure if the model can be built with the sections that can go back and forth for this kit. I would check into it when I come home. It will need modifications, but should be fun!

Wikipedia says it never flew.

My vote for your next model is the Yak 36 VTOL aircraft.
