Hello,
checked & know this site was on the free dowloads subforum, but did not see there any mention of the 1930s era paper model of
Europa.
https://www.kartonmodellbau.org/neur...ppin2.shtml.de
German site, Working Group for the History of Papermodelling, historical models from Neuruppin Museum presented.
Europa is the last on the page, I ran across this while researching
Bremen.
Photo of completed ship looks to capture the prototype's character pretty well, especially considering the paper toy-like models of
Queen Mary and
Normandie from the 1930s.
4 image files and German PDF on tips to build, asymmetric parts, 13mm too long on the base plate, etc. If I understand correctly and it's printed on similar sized stock as the original, it would have a length of 82cm, nearly 1/350th if the length accurate to the original.
hope someone may find this useful
