use the sculpey as is you could oil the plastic canopy. what I did was use the paper canopy as the female mold. Use any tabs on the outside of the canopy. you could use this form and dry fit it to the fuselage to make sure it fits. press the sculpey into the form and bake it as is in the oven. it is very low temp for 15 minutes I think, check the label for sure. you then can peel off the paper canopy and lightly sand any imperfections seams on the sculpey.
