Siwi, it looks more apprppriate to do it with a close canopy, better refflects this aircraft shape, and transparent enough to see the cockpit details.
Main effort was the toepedo assembly. The devastator can carry different weapones as seen in the next sketch.
My choice is the mk 13 torpedo, which is partially embedded in the fuselage. Cut part of the lower skin, and this is a fit-chek of the assembly.
