Hello all
Continue with the wings.
Internal reinforcement for the wing is a boxed structure from paper with one former in the root and one former at a console root. It wouldn't work in a larger wing, but here it works perfectly well.
The winglets - these made me scratch my head trying to decide how to make them. In the end I glued them almost horizontally and then tilted them up. Looks not great at all but this Is the best I could do.
Attaching the wings to the body us also quite a deal. There is an internal boxy structure inside the fuselage where the wing is supposed to be attached but there are no beams that go thru the fuselage to create 3d structure to support the wing and prevent sagging
Just need to glue the root former to the body
This is a pretty light model, I hope no sagging will occur. If yes, I will have to dismantle the wings and use some wooden coffee stirrers to stiffen the structure abit.
Then I stared the engines...
In all pretty good parts fit.
