Yesterday there was activity on Facebook indicating John had been taken to hospital. This morning the activity was not positive. It was reported by his wife that he passed away at 4:30 this morning.

I had the privilege of meeting him and sharing a conversation and meal with him during my wife's and I vacation travel back in 2016.

At that time I gave him the beta build of a model he never got around to releasing. I've been holding on to my build thread pictures ever since waiting for his go ahead to publish them.

I will miss him in cyberspace and in real life. Rest in Peace John! 😢
