I am also shocked and very sad to hear about this. I too, did some beta builds for John. My Favorite one was the Blue Tail Fly F9F-5 Grumman Panther. It was a repaint and partial re-design of the Ken West model. I don't think that that one actually was ever published. Sadly I think there are several more models in that category.
