My worst taxi ride was while in Vienna. Had a skiing mishap and had an ER visit. We only had 15 minutes to go 5 miles from the hospital to the pharmacy before it closed. I earned a great appreciation for Audi A5s and a good manual transmission driver. The real problem was the cobblestone and brick streets. We made it with 2 minutes to spare. I tipped the driver well.
But, I did nearly get killed by a taxi driver in Rome. And I was on the sidewalk.
