Yes it is Mike but I am enjoying it.
A brief post of the rudder horn and some of the tackle.
The "snatch block" in the system was I am sure introduced
to give the helm more power as the cable run is very long.
I am using black thread since according to Wikipedia wire rope
was available by 1860 so it was probably used. A metal hull and
metal cable would expand similarly to temperature changes.
