This has happened to me twice...you have to be very careful what you click on especially during checkout.
They unfairly make it more difficult to find the "no prime signup" button.
The Prime membership is also an offer that comes up on your account once a year (for free).
The first month is free...but you have to cancel before they bill you for the next month.
Its pretty easy to cancel.
But if you accidentally agree to Prime outside of the free offer window,
you will immediately get billed (on your credit card) for the first month.
Best thing to do at that point, if you want it cancelled, is phone them...not email.
There is a toll free number.
Tell them it was a mistake and they will cancel and credit the remaining days of the first month
Thats why its important to call as soon as possible.
When searching on amazon...start by clicking the "free shipping" filter (on the left side).
It will drastically reduce the available products, but you might find a bargain.
And remember, many things fall under amazon's free shipping if you spend $35 or whatever the amount is for your region.
I usually wait and buy three or four things at once to get that deal.
Having to fix your password sounds like your browser has the wrong password stored and you just need to update it.
Either that or you are manually entering the wrong password every time you try to log on?
