A little while back, I had seen a cartoon that inspired me.
Using the Moai statue kit from Canon, I wondered how I
could make it look a little different.
With that thought, and looking at pictures of the actual statues,
I grabbed some Rust-o-leum "stone" paint to give it a try.
After construction, I mounted the main statue to a
paint mixing stick and sprayed it in stone gray.
After it had dried, I removed it and attached the "cap" to the stick
and sprayed it with a red stone color.
I added some "ears" that were not included in the kit. You'll
see why in a minute
Using some rail road grass, I made up a base for it.
I printed it at 50% of the original, and it comes out about 2.5 inches tall.
And, I added the final touch. Seemingly appropriate!
Thanks for stopping by.
