Thank you everyone. I’ve been making models out of card every now and then for the past fifty odd years but this is the first time I’ve ‘gone public’ so to speak. Your comments are much appreciated – and encouraging. As for it being ‘straight’, to be honest I did cheat a bit and fit some thin paper fillets where needed. It’s not 100% but not far off.

Good point Madbrit. The parts of the elephant and base are shown below - it’s hard to imagine just how much time, effort and trial and error was involved. Real skill.
