after having mounted the parapets and prepared the templates

or second ship decks which will later be covered with the planking
I apply the edge protection strips on the ship sides
(see in the photo as I don't know exactly what they are called)
obtaining these details by overlaying various layers of 1 mm cardboard.



I use for a cardboard modeler certainly unorthodox methods but with
a model of over 140 cm in length and 25 cm in width,
the material works under great tensile forces.




then I apply the upper parts of the side of the ship.
trying to find and provisionally design the windows for the cannon hatches,
looking for a compromise between constructive logic and a possible
harmony that at the end of the work everything must give
