Exclamation Landing gear bays

In the previous post, I stated that the wings are on. However, they were not yet glued to the fuselage.

Next was the cutout for the gear bays in the wings only. Notice, that the doors in the fuselage only open during the retract and extension sequence and normally are closed on the ground, thus no need to cut out those.

For strength, I inserted a small wood dowel that will be glued inside and to the rear of the wing center support. It is painted silver and has a small hole drilled for the strut pin.

Now the wing can be glued on to the fuselage.
