I've viewed your HMS Alert build photos many times over the past few years and have shared the link to your video slideshow with many people. My own first paper model was Shipyard's 1/96-scale HMS Alert.
Do you still live in the San Francisco Bay Area? If recall correctly, you lived in Dublin or something, just down the road from me – I'm in Pleasant Hill.
