Coo-ee! Thank you so much for your comments and I'm glad you like the models. As Miles and asettico rightly point out, quite a lot could be done to improve the display. Minature figures would look good too, I reckon. But be that as it may.
The whole caboodle (train included) is being given to a friend who will use it to entertain her young grandson when he comes to visit.
