Exclamation Wing landing gear housing and doors

As I stated earlier, the Skyhawk's main gear was attached to the lower wing , but not inside. The struts had their own fairing and the gear swung forward during the retraction. Only the main wheel was stored in the wing bay.


The fairing ( canoe like shape ) wing frame is pre drilled to position the gear struts

glue in place. Note that the red outline is hand marked. On the real aircraft it is there as a safety marker so you don't bang your head and face on those edges.
