Another ten minutes of relax, and the engines are almost ready.

Two interesting points about them. First, the OY-KIA had the reverses angled 17º . You can see it easily in the side picture.
This was a very liked modification in the life of the DC-9 series, because it improved the handling of the plane while braking. BUT it was a "field modification", done by the groud crew and by just screwing the parts in another position. You can see the picture from the rear of the unidentified plane that it was possible to have mixed positions in the same fuselage.
It was so easy to do (and reverse) that years later, when OY-KIA became YV-13C, the reverses were again perfectly horizontal.

And the second interesting point: the picture with Aeropostal colors shows the registration TI-AZS. It was leased to the company Tica, based in Costa Rica, but it didn't worked out. I'm not going to depict this last registration, because the changes are minimal compared with YV-13C.
