The Light Training and Reconnaissance Craft has been completed.
This is my first attempt at a paper/card model of a flying vehicle. I wanted to do a tribute to the Red Arrows (of the future), in a classic Gerry Anderson style.
In summary, I scratchbuilt the undercarriage, detailed and glazed the cockpit, applied waterslide RAF upper/lower wing roundels and fin flashes, weathered the flying surfaces, and coated the model in matt varnish. The anti-gravity pods on the underside of the fuselage were made from scrap card. There are port and starboard navigation lights on the upper wings, and the blue circles on the fuselage underside and rear of the tailplane represent cameras.
