Thank you Doug, Chris, Tom, Homer, Dan, Tino and Salvador! No, I haven't started yet with punching the holes in the flaps. Maybe I should, just to spread this monotonous task over the coming few weeks or so.
The right wing is essentially the same as the left one, but a bit simpler as there are no landing lights to consider. The pictures tell the tale.
The last wing related parts are underneath the central wing section. To maintain the correct shape of the long semi-cylindrical parts I glued a slightly narrower strip of paper on the white area where the part has to be placed, which gives a bit of an edge to glue the part against. I also used small strips of thin paper to join the cut-out edges from the inside. Altogether not particularly mind-blowing work but very effective for a neat finish.
Finally a few pictures of the wing details. The running lights at the wingtips (still need to add drops of white glue to create light bulbs), the landing lights and also not yet detailed with a drop of glue, the formation lights on the wing tips.
All in all the model is not so small (or my hand is small
).
