CL-52 update

Hi All;
There has to be at least some obsessive compulsive element in anyone who achieves anything, simply because it takes lots of practice and concentration to get anything finished. Here are three pictures. The first shows CL-52 with the drum mounts for the simplified wing turrets. The second shows them removed. The last shows the partially assembled rotator tables and turret shields. The elevation parts are being omitted. The rotators are a very tricky assembly because the fit is so tight. a slip of the hand and the whole assembly winds up getting glued together and is useless. Have to wait for the part of the day when the tremors aren't too bad. The early turrets had no ejection chutes, so there had to be room for crewmen to get the spent shell casings out of the way of the turret. That's why the indentation in the superstructure was designed.
Regards, rjccjr
