Hello all,

After looking at the strip for the wing spar not sure where it’s really supposed to be, it seems to fit best on top of the box girder which makes the wing spar. Looked at every imaginable place! Seems to make sense to add it to the top of the spar which is in tension as the wing will tend to sag.

Pic 1 above is the whole spar with the strip on top.
Pic 2 + 3 are the front and rear of the join between left and right parts of the spar conveniently showing the outline of the fuselage.
Pic 4 are the next parts cut ready for assembly
Pic 5 is the main gear doors and the ‘airbrakes’ fitted to the end of the fuselage.

All parts were 80gm paper but the gear door inner and outer glued to thin card and laid flat to dry. That meant having to shape them after the glue was dry so you might see creases on the inside of the gear bay door.
For the airbrakes I formed the 80gm inner and outer parts separately first and then glued them. Whilst the glue dried I formed them again to get the correct shape which worked really well.

Regards,
Alan
