Now, to rest and catch my breath after so many vintage buildings I decided to make few easier models, based on a TGW series by Tsugawa Hiroyuki (free downloaded from Brothers Co webpage). The few basic designs were widely modified and converted by me in order to make a possibly diverse group of buildings surrounding the downtown marketplace. They are not machiya-type as they have no apartments on the first floor (at most a storeroom). The designs and constructive materials are simple and cheap - perhaps these shops were built during the late Shōwa period recession in 1980s.

I will need many buildings for the background of my diorama and they do not have to be as individualized and detailed as the buildings in the foreground, so I am going to make much more of them and to share the images when I finished.
