Hey Andrew,

I've been watching Nekomura take shape, and I hope you don't mind a minor thread hijack - since most buildings are done you'll want to do roads next, and I just found a great resource in the most unlikely place:

Bトレイン無料ペーパークラフト4 特攻野郎Bチーム B-Team Free Papercrafts #4

The website is devoted to paper bodies for the Kato B-Train shorties, which are 1:150 Japanese N gauge for height and width but compressed in length. The page above has printouts for various street types and customizable with manholes, drains and streetside grass or clay [the red panels], and best of all the files aren't very big so you can save all the files you want! The markings are Japanese style and for left side driving, but flipping either horizontally or vertically gets you right side driving streets. Print at half size [4 pages per sheet] to get 1/300 scale.

Vayashi's [now pepar.net] used to have a collection of Japanese railway crossings that would have worked very well with these but I can't find them on pepar.net anymore.
